Update your fashion vocabulary at the new Hermès pop-up shop

Updated on May 5 2017

Get ready to update your fashion vocabulary with Hermès as the Parisian powerhouse introduces new words to its very own fashion lexicon. For Spring/Summer 2017, the brand is presenting a total of four new words: ‘colourysteria‘, which refers to the urge to array one’s everyday life with bright colours; ‘transgressitude‘, which means to master the art of bending rules; ‘meandmyselfmania‘, meaning self-love to the point of idolising one’s double and, finally, ‘multitaskology‘, which is the ability to perform many tasks at once with panache.

If you don’t already know, Hermèsistible is a digital site that was launched by Hermès in 2015. Through frequently updated GIFs, films, short stories made up of photographs, and the house’s very own dictionary of fun and quirky words, the website serves as a platform for the brand to inspire and breathe new life into your everyday style choices.

To help bring these new words to life, Hermès will host a Hermèsistible pop-up store at Elements from 12–21 May (open 10:30am–9pm daily), where each definition will be represented by a selection of new jewellery and accessories including bracelets, necklaces, and earrings.
